Our Research Focus

Dr. Rahman’s area of research covers additive manufacturing/3D printing, solid mechanics, materials, computational fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and machine learning. Currently, his research is focused on developing a multiscale integrated computational material engineering (ICME) framework for dissecting the process-material-performance interplay in the solid-state and extrusion-based additive manufacturing techniques.
